my new life
I've been forced to forgoe internet connection! When I wrote last I was pirating off of my friend's internet. See, our landlord has free wireless for her tenants, but there's this sneaky password that is needed to access the internet and she doesn't remember ever setting one up or anyone ever having to use one. Technology pisses me off sometimes, it really does. I've felt so damned isolated without my internet. Could it be that I'm addicted? Most likely, but I fully admit it. I've also been having issues with the OCD that I'm prone too. When I can't find something I've boxed I search relentlessly until I find it and cannot move onto anything else until it's discovered. It's driving my husband mad. At least the weather has been glorious and sunny. Griff and I went to the lake yesterday for a swim and some playtime with a new friend. The water was so rejuvinating (we pisces really need our water time...) and it was nice to float and watch Griffyn swim. Today we're at the library so that I can be online for a change. The landlord won't be home until Monday when we can figure this wireless crap out. But, with this whole thang comes a new wirelss adapter that's tiny and portable. I wanted a new computer, but that's just not going to happen!
Well, life is moving on in a new direction and I'm desperately trying to hang onto my identity. I'm not working in my own business, I'm with my son all day every day. It's an adjutment and I've got to give myself room to grow. Enough of this impatient, stubborn attitude! My roots have been exposed to the air and they don't like it one bit. Where's the dark, fertile soil they know and love? In time they will find it again, but until then I'll be a little on edge and a bit cranky. Let's just hope I don't drive hubby mad!!!
