Another day
The silly anxiety trip is over. I just decided I wasn't going to give into it anymore. Plus, life it too much fun right now. I'm very, very excited to move and have been planning elaborate decorations for the new place. There was even this mad rush about the local thrift store to find material for curtains, and also some clothing to cut up and change. I have these crazy clothing ideas floating around in my head and am hoping that I can re-create them with my sewing machine. I've always wanted to make my own, funky clothing since there's not much out there I like to buy. Why not?
I met with a good, newish friend this past Friday and she got me all fired up about creating my own clothes since she does that as well. She's a jewlery and accessory designer, and a good one at that. Connected and everything. One of those friends who lives the jet-set kind of lifestyle. Yes, I fully admit I keep her around to live vicariously through her adventures. Plus she wicked awesome.
This morning I had this wonderful plan to go pick wild blueberries with the little boy. They can be found off to the side at the local wildlife preserve. No one really knows about them and they are so incredibly delicious. However, they are small and it takes forever to pick enough to make a pie. Griff decided it wasn't his thing today so I managed to pick just enough before he decided to go visit the farm animals on his own. Busy morning, but now I can relax. Another friend is coming over with her two boys, so it will be absolute chaos for a few hours. That's okay. Boys are fun!
