Her crabiness
Well, this mildly stresses out chicky unloaded on her husband this morning, and not in a good way. I got rolling on how I was ready to get out of this house now so that we didn't have to deal with a landlord who's trying to sell the house while we're still living here. She can be very passive/aggressive, and since she's been this amazing mentor to me througout my life I don't want that relationship to be tarnished. So, she wants the house to be in top shape to sell (perfectly normal) but there's only so much G and I can do to make this house beautiful. Anyway, it's a bit much. Then I went off about how I was worried about what kind of work he will be doing since my work will be seriously diminished (I plan on travelling down here at least twice a week through the holidays to still make some dough). He said carpentry, but on his own. That didn't sit well with me since it's a little sketchy here right now in that area and I told him that I needed him to get on that. However, every weekend G works a 40 hour "week" in four days. Sometimes more. He's working his ass off so that we have savings and extra cash. I need to give him a fucking brake. This is his last weekend on the Richmond job and then he's taking off next weekend so that we can have some time together as a family. Next Saturday is also his 10 year sobriety anniversary, which I'm sure is waying heavily on his mind. So, I'm going to lay off and stop being so selfish about wanting things done NOW. Everything will be fine because this move is a postivie one. PMS, that's what I'm blaming this on. I'm just realizing that I've skinned a knuckle...we punched into pads today in class sans gloves (with me just using my left arm since the right shoulder needs some healing time). Ouchie! At least that's how it feels now. When I was doing it I didn't really notice. Holy non sequiter, Batman! Anyway, hopefully there will be this big party for G this Saturday. I talked with his friend, the tattoo guy, today and he's sending out the word to come to his house for a shindig. That should hopefully put a smile on G's face....
so last year - next fad
