Sunday writing
Things we're doing on Sunday:
1. Went to Saratoga for a little Target fix (I needed some summer work clothes). However, was a bit disappointed with the clothing selection. Target don't fail me now!
2. Also went food shopping.
3. Put together a small lego thingie that resembles a space mobile and space drill. Planet exploration here we come...
4. Noshed on some Brie and red grapes. I can't get enough of Brie and thought to myself, "If I don't put this away now I will eat the entire wedge." Of course I pick off the rind...not a rind fan...not at all.
5. Folded my work sheets and thought of smells that I absolutely adore:
freshly laundered clothes
after rain in the summertime
Origins Ginger Essence perfume
Griffyns hair
dog feet (I know, gross. But they smell like Fritos!)
Geoffrey's skin
my Mom
Fall
that wet, mossy smell deep in the woods
ocean
lake
any kind of cooking, but especially stews
wine
I'm just this ridiculously smell-oriented person. My memory is always triggered by smells. It's weird sometimes.
So now Griffyn and I are off to Merck Forest to see if any baby animals have arrived. We especially love the bittie piggies! Oh yes, I'll have pictures. At least I will if I manage to get him out of the house, away from the legos....
