The day after
Phew, it's over. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore Christmas. It's just that it is such an exhausting day now we have a child. Plus he finally realized the joy of opening presents (that has a little sarcasm planted into it). "More presents, mommy?", running to and fro trying to find more presents for him to open. Crazy! My parents and G's parents went a little overboard, but hey, they're the grandparents. I suppose I should let them know to take it easy next year...But overall it was a great day. As soon as we put Griffyn to bed last night hubby and I took down the tree to give us some more room for all the xtra toys. It was beautiful, but our rooms are too small. I felt so much better once that was done and I could re-arrange Griffyn's stuff. I'll be going through all of that stuff this weekend to see if I can get rid of some of it!
Now I'm back at work. Only three people today, but tomorrow and Friday are killer days. Ugh. Geoffrey and I had a very serious conversation about having a baby very soon instead of me waiting until I went for my second-degree black belt. That can wait, my body can't. It would also be nice to have the kiddos spaced out at almost four years. We'll see how it goes...
