drama
I've been sitting with my nose practically in the laptop screen for the last 45 minutes and what have I bee doing? Nothing. Reading a little here and there but if you were to ask me what I've just read I don't know if I could recall it. Family drama is making me a little crazy right now. It basically boils down to my dad and his sister absolutley hating each other. They really hate each other, I'm not exaggerating. And it really sucks around this time of year when we all are supposed to be together as a family and for one day let all the bullshit go. Not for these two. This year X-mas day is at my parent's house, when it usually is at my grandparent's house. However, they are in their 80's and just don't want to deal with it anymore. The thing here is my dad refuses to have his sister in his house, which is understandable. So instead of telling him herself or having her parents tell her, they ask my mother to do it for them. I'm pretty pissed about it. I would rather she not be in my parent's house since my father completely shuts off when she's around and just gets obliteratingly drunk and is known to drive off in a rage while drunk. Not pretty. When she's not there he's happy as a clam. He absolutely loves Christmas and more importantly loves to give people gifts. I'm drained just writing this down. My sister and I talked about it last night and she's ready to not bring her family to my parent's house at all because she feels my aunt should be there. I should also mention that it's my grandfather's birthday on Christmas. Whatever, I'm just pissed about the whole thing and am not going to go into the history. Neither party is innocent, and my aunt can be very, very manipulative and shrewd. My dad always thinks he's right. I say be the better person, suck it up, and just shut up and be happy!
so last year - next fad
