I ramble on
Last night Griff and I decorated our tree while hubby had a massage (but not by me because that just never happens...). Griffyn went to task placing all the ornaments he could on the lower branches since that was all he could really reach. I do have pictures, but I didn't bring the camera to work, so hopefully I'll post them tomorrow. It's been requested that I post more pictures...anyway, it was so cute watching my naked child labor away, meticulously placing the ornaments on each branch. There were some branches that had four or five!!! As for being naked, it's hard to keep this child in clothes when he's inside. It's just easier to pee on the potty when you're naked.

We finally have snow!!! Needless to say I'm not looking forward to driving home later this afternoon after work, but I have great studded snowtires that will prevail through the toughest storm. There's also talk of a Nor'easter this weekend. Yahoo!!! Sledding time!!! Frankly I was getting very bored with the rain, sleet and ice. Not my idea of winter weather, but what can you do? Move to Alaska I suppose, but seeing as that would never happen unless I wanted to see my husband slit his wrists I'll keep putting up with whatever Vermont weather may bring.

Blah, blah, blah blither blather on. Not much to report. Things are relatively quite on the homefront. Hubby and I had a date last Sunday! We went out for super yummy Thai food (yay Pad Thai and Tiger Rolls!!!) and then went to see "The Golden Compass". The movie was okay. I've listened to the book a few times (just recently since I was going to see the movie) and it stayed sort of true to the tale, but I hated how it ended. The characters were fantastic, however, which made up for the ending. Philip Pullman is the author of the trilogy and I highly recommend it for anyone. It's a book for young readers, but very entertaining for adults as well. Fantastical stuff with fantastical creatures and heavy material. Give it a go.
