10:03 a.m. - 2007-11-02 Phew, explanation over. Don't want people to think I'm scimping out on my first NaBloPoMo! Anwyay, I'm feeling a little less raw today. This weekend will be a busy one. I'm taking a massage class in Burlington called Anatomy Trains, which basically is another class working with the myofascial system (fascia is the thin layer of connective tissue that covers all muscles, organs, etc. and if it becomes "snagged" can cause all sorts of issues). The man who came up with this system, Tom Meyers, studied under Ida Rolf, the "mother" of Rolfing. It's a class I've been wanting to take for a few years and it's finally close by and not costing me a small fortune, which happens with most massage continuing education. It's a littel ridiculous sometimes. I'm excited and can't wait to learn this. The last class I was able to take was almost three years ago. I would love to do more, but just don't have the time to travel away for weekends these days let alone shell out the daneros. Well, off I go.
